What wheels should i get for cruising and carving on a longboard?
Im getting a Gravity Makai, with Randall RII trucks, Bones Reds Bearings, .5" Khiro Angled Wedge Hard Raisers,
I'm wondering which wheels to get. I want wheels with good grip. Im wondering between the Seismic Hot Spots (Deep Purple 84a) or the Retro ZigZags (Lime 80a), which ones are better? because im just going to use them for cruising and carving around the neighborhood
first off, don't get the risers; that board is a drop thru. 2nd, hotspots suck. if you are just going to be cruising, lime zig zags are just about the best wheels you can buy. check out http://milehighskates.com/boards/completes.html for some good deals on makais. i also recommend krackedskulls.com for some sweet boards if you use the code BOSS for a discount.
